2. Peterborough Doctors on Call (PDOC)
PDOC is run by a large group of Peterborough GPs, all dedicated to providing excellent emergency out of hours care. The service sees patients at there out of hour's centre and provides telephone advice. This facility must not be misused as it is for emergencies only. A trained medical receptionist will take your call and arrange for you to speak to a Doctor. The Doctor will decide whether to give you advice, ask you to attend the Primary Care Clinic in Peterborough, or arrange to visit you at home. We will need to know the patient's name, address, telephone number, age and details of what is wrong.
