This is a forum which encourages open discussion of changes and ideas within the practice. We are not a forum for clinical complaints but we can defuse more general concerns through open discussion. The meetings are attended by a doctor and the practice manager. There are many more schemes which the Patients Association in association with the practice, could develop but we badly need VOLUNTEERS! Your practice needs you, whether you can help in a small or large way. We would appreciate your involvement. Please contact karen.mcnally@gp-d81073.nhs.uk or telephone 01733 265535 for further information. Increased patient involvement with the Primary Care Team which has resulted in fundraising of £1,500. This has funded the purchase of a number of items of equipment e.g. Ear thermometers, wheelchair scales. The items are in constant use and benefit patients every day. We are currently raising funds for a digital camera. This will be used by clinicians to send photographs of skin conditions to Peterborough Hospital Trust. It will also be used by the medical staff to photograph skin complaints before and after treatment. This will be a useful training for the all medical staff.
